A night guard is a custom-made, thin, transparent, horseshoe-shaped (or retainer-like) plastic appliance with shallow borders that establish proper tooth alignment and an ideal bite relationship.

This splint is worn between the top and bottom teeth and does not allow the teeth to interlock, thus absorbing the force of clenching and grinding to reduce joint irritation and inflammation.

How can the Night Guards be custom made without an office visit? Basically, we'll send you an impression system so you can take an impression of your own teeth. You send your impression back to us in the pre-paid postage envelop that comes with your system. Once we receive your impressions, we will make the custom fitted Night Guard based on your impressions and immediately mail them back to you. Its extremely simple and thousands of people like you have already done it. We include extra impression material in your system in the event you do slip up.

Are your custom night guards the same as those used by a dentist's office? Yes! Just to give you an idea, our dental labs works with many dental offices. Typically, you'll walk into a dentist's office, they take your impressions, and in most cases they mail the impressions to our lab. Then, we make the guard and mail it back to the dentist's office, where they charge you their fees. OR…you can buy our system directly from our lab and save hundreds of dollars.

How long does it take to get the night guards back?
After we receive your impressions, it typically takes us 3-5 days to custom make the nightguards. Then we put them back in the mail and they're on the way to you.
