Referral Program Policy for Brighter Image Lab

Brighter Image does not allow the use of coupon sites or offer baiting within the Referral Program.

Referrers whose primary business is (or appears to be) the use of coupon sites, or who are viewed by Brighter Image as being a coupon site operator will be denied access to the Referral Program. Exceptions can be made if an existing or prospective referrer who is currently operating a coupon site, agrees to solely use other methods (approved ppc, targeted site building, blogging, etc.) when marketing products from Brighter Image Lab.

If your default site is a coupon/discount/deal site, you are advised to contact us at and provide detailed information of your advertising plans. (webpage urls for the intended location of ads, sample copy, blog articles etc.) The more details included in your intended action plan, the more likely an referrer is to be approved.

Brighter Image may, from time-to-time, release special offers or discounts to approved referrers which can be used in marketing efforts. Valid discounts are defined as checkout codes made available through Use of coupon codes that are not real, expired, non specific (i.e. up to 40% off) or are long term, site-wide offers that do not require a code are not considered to be valid discounts/coupons/codes, and will be considered breach of this agreement. Referrers found to be offering false or misleading discounts, will not be paid commission for any sales generated.

You may ONLY advertise coupon codes that are provided to you through the referral program or network.

Posting any information about how to work around the requirements of a coupon/promotion (i.e. first time customers) will result in removal from the program.

You may NOT advertise coupon codes or discounts obtained from our non-referral advertising, customer e-mails, paid search, or any other campaign.

You may NOT give the appearance that any ongoing offer not issued through the Referral Program requires clicking from your website in order to redeem. For example, if all items on the site have free shipping over $100, you may not turn this into an offer that infers that the customer must click from your site to get this deal.

On click through, you must link directly to our website. The use of "doorway pages" or "framing" of our website is strictly prohibited.

Cookie Stuffing/Forced Clicks: You must not mislead customers into clicking on an offer or coupon that does not exist or practice similarly deceptive tactics that are generally known as "cookie stuffing" or "forced clicks". These include, but are not limited to:

  1. Using knowingly expired offers or presenting offers that do not exist or are not referral offers
  2. Making claims that a user must click on a link first to activate or receive an offer (apart from those issued through the Referral Program)
  3. Presenting a button that claims to show all offers that sets the referral cookie in the background
  4. Technology that generates a click or sets the cookie from the action of copying a coupon code or though a pop under.
