The wide range of procedure costs give dentists leeway to charge extensive amounts at their own disclosure.
Botched Cosmetic Dentistry
Cosmetic dentistry is not recognized by the ADA or considered to be a specialty field. This gives recent graduates immediate access to work in the industry.
Roughly $35.2 billion is spent every year on cosmetic dentistry in the United States. Of that estimate, $10 billion accounts for redoing work previously done by another dentist. Another advantage for the dentist is to demand a more expensive dental cost on your services selling you on why you need this work redone. Emotional selling is what keeps dentists in business.
