Special Accident Smile Makeover
This week we’re doing a special kind of makeover. We’re doing one that’s a little bit more extreme than what we normally do. We’re doing it (an accident smile makeover) for a guy named Nathan.
Nathan came to me because he lost his teeth on a four-wheeler and I don’t know if he won the race or not, but we do know that he lost his smile. He had some good friends refer him to us. We were able to work with him, and we kind of agreed with his friends that he’s the type of guy that we want to do our work for.
Nathan’s just not the type of guy that can be who he is if he’s not smiling. If we’re successful at building a new smile for Nathan, he’ll actually use it to get his life back.

Nathan, Bil Watson. Good to meet you sir. Have you met my dog?

Everybody knows Texas. Oh Yeah. What are you doing buddy? First of all thanks for meeting with us.

I got in a bad 4 wheeler wreck.

Yeah I had a beaver, a raccoon, and a skunk.
As a wildlife guy what does your day consist of?
On an easy day like today, I mean I go out I stomp around in the ponds and set beaver snares.
So you just do beavers?
No I do everything. Everything from rats all the way to coyotes, bobcats on their hands…
What do you do when you catch a freaking bobcat?
Just watch it, grab it.
Really? What do you do with a coyote?
Usually I travel.
And do what?!
And release them, take them to another location in the country.

No, I wish! They try to get after me. Once your corner them, they get mad.

Yes sir. I have I mean I grew up in the Everglades. I grew up catching ‘gators, snakes, everything. As a kid, that was fun.

Beavers are nothing. They’re easy. Cakewalk.

The Cost of A Bad Smile
I gotta ask, what do you think having a bad smile has cost you? Is it?
Yeah, some strangers, you know, people that I don’t really know closely, it doesn’t really bother me that much. It’s the people that are closest to me is where it really bothers me.
I can tell you that what made me look at this thing is that I got a text that said if you’re interested in helping a really, really good man, and how do you turn that down? From what I understand, you’ve got a lot going on?
Yes sir.
Most guys will suffer it. If you’re a girl, you’ve got a different set of challenges.

Is A Good Impression Difficult To Make?
A few dentists will go online and say, “What they do is impossible, because you can’t take the impressions yourself.” Did you have any problem with the impressions (for the accident smile makeover)?
I had no problem with it, actually.

No it’s actually really simple. It’s almost like, how do you explain it? Okay, I played high school football.

It Just Takes Time
You’re shocked. It’s gonna take you three days to get used to wearing them (the accident smile makeover). I told you that you have a pretty good name. People say good things about you?

But you don’t do it because in other words you’re not one to go, he’s got…You’re not one of these guys that just tries to get his features recognized but in a few days you’re gonna realize that when you smile that’s a compliment to people because they want to see you smile.

Relearning To Smile
You’re gonna learn to not shut your mouth anymore. You gotta realize now if they catch you smiling (with the accident smile makeover), you look better, not, not average. I always tell people it’s not about their smile, but in this situation you’re gonna have an exceptional smile. it’s gonna be exceptional.
