Press On Veneers FAQ

Do you use dentists in your process?

Click here to learn why you can't buy these through a dentist

No, there’s no dentists on our staff, and the reason being is because the laws right now are so strong that you can’t, and we don’t want them. We don’t need them. If you were to give me 1,000 dentists today, I have nothing against any of them, but none of them know how to make a removable dental veneer. Less than 1% of the doctors in this country have the technology that allows them to improve someone’s smile without doing dentistry, and the reason being is it’s not profitable. So we try to separate ourselves, even when clients call us. We have doctors who call us and say, “Can you do this for a client?” And that’s what we tell them. We don’t mind helping your client, but we always deal with the client personally.

Can I really take my own impressions?

Click here for video answer to can I really take my own impressions

Well, the [impression] system was a big deal. The technology is off the charts. The things that we do every day weren’t possible years ago. The new technology, the new impression material is so incredibly sophisticated that there is no longer any value in paying your doctor 100’s of dollars for him to show you how to make an impression. You also have technology that does what’s called model manipulation. If you didn’t read the instructions, if you sent in a bad impression, and you asked us to build your smile based on a compromised impression we can fix it. If we get a bite mark we can build a smile on it as long as we have a gumline. So with that, that’s all we need is a bottom bite, and a gumline and we’re done, we’ll fix it if it’s bad. The technology is what’s made it. If it wasn’t for the impression system, it would be dead.

What holds the veneer in place? Couldn’t it fall off?

Click here for video answer to what holds the veneer in place

Well I mentioned that before, the design of the veneer is creative. We had the same concerns when we got started. Now what’s happened is because we’re able to design in microns, remember we’re slicing nail polish. We make a decision based on every smile as to where the curvature of the tooth is. If you were to take the design of your tooth, they always arch more narrow at the top than they do at the bottom, and with that is you have the curve and you have a resin that’s flexible, it pushes on and it holds. This resin holds its position for years, and it really never changes.

Because it’s thin, and because it’s strong, and because it’s flexible, you have the arch of the tooth, you have the arch of the mouth, and you have the curvature of the tooth, all of those. Plus you have the natural suction of the tooth. We used to think that they would be too loose, and that was our concern was that we couldn’t get into it. We always tell them that we always design 100%, not 99, not 101. We’re now perfect, and that design is designed to fit the curvature of that tooth, the arch of that tooth, and the gumline of that tooth and it will hold.

Can I eat with them on?

Everybody that you’ve seen has a different smile. We always ask people, do not challenge your teeth. It’s not a treatment plan. We haven’t “fixed” your teeth. What we’re asking you to do is survive a social setting. We believe wholeheartedly that the natural smile that you can go back and pick 50% of the people that I showed you and they can all chew away on their veneer. Two of those people need to not challenge it. Three of those people need to slow down when they start chewing on steak. They don’t do anything to fix your teeth. They only replace the appearance of your teeth. They don’t do anything but smile enhancement. So, but they are designed to survive a social setting. If you go to dinner with your friends, you don’t have to take them out. All you have to do is be careful with what it is that you’re entertaining, and make sure that you’re going to be careful. People have been doing it for years, whether they had regular teeth or not. First date, you don’t eat this, you don’t eat that, nobody eats spaghetti, they stay away from certain foods. You’ll do the same thing in a social setting.

How much do these cost?

Click here for video answer to how much do removable veneers cost

Let me tell you a couple of things about pricing. First of all, [the veneers] started out about $1000, and now they’re down to around $750… and we’d do them for less if we could. But let me talk to you a little more about pricing. Not only did we make them $750 (if that’s an average) but we also made it so that people could pay half down. Our goal is to make sure that anybody who needs one, can call us and say “I don’t have the money, but I want to get started, but it’s a real interest. I’m truly, sincerely, genuinely interested.”

And then we have what’s called a Smile Away program. Now it’s not layaway – it’s Smile Away – because we actually start on it. Once we start on it, they pay $149 down and then they make payments until it’s paid for. So what’s happened is, you take these people who say “I don’t have a choice, there’s just no reason, there’s no way” and we say “Let’s put them on the board. Let’s work with them, let’s get it designed, let’s so if we can process it.

So these are the things we got started with. The challenges that we had was to make sure that the prices didn’t get away [from us]. We didn’t want to get into an arena where everyone was doing everything that the market could bare. All we really wanted to do was ensure we had the ability to, fundamentally, be a strong company.

*Our Smile Away program has been replaced with a financing program that offers the same, low $149 down payment with 0% Interest and 100% approval.*

How long do removable veneers last?

Click here for video answer to how long do removable veneers last

The big deal about removable dental veneers is they’re designed to last you for years and years, but they’re all based on how you take care of them. Some people don’t wear them all the time. Some people only wear them when they’re not at work. Some people wear them when they go out. So all of the bearings, it’s normal wear and tear, but if you treat it like it’s the only veneer you have…If it’s a tool that you use to be part of your monthly makeup, then you’re going to take care of that veneer. If you take care of it, it should last you more than five years.

Can I sleep in them?

Click here for video answer to can I sleep in them

The reason why people ask us if they can sleep with them is because a lot of people who are dating are dating people who don’t know they have a veneer. So we tell them we would appreciate it if they didn’t sleep in them, but a lot of people we know do.

Is Brighter Image Lab working on any new products?

Click here for video answer to is Brighter Image Lab working on any new products

I’m afraid to get on that question because I don’t want to rant, but I’m going to for a second. I need to get this off my chest. I’m so upset, one of my pet peeves in life, I can’t stand it, it makes me mad on a daily basis, and I can hear Trey and Matt telling me to calm down, but I hate the fact that teeth cleaning costs $300 in this country. I hate it, I can’t stand it, it irks me to my soul.

It bothers me that you can go get your belly button pierced, you can get your nails done, you can get a tattoo, you can get all of that for $50. On any given Saturday there’s a trailer at a Wal-Mart that says we’ll vaccinate your dog for $19, but you can’t take a carload of kids and get their teeth cleaned.

It bothers me and it’s a sin against nature. I can’t stand it, I’m over talking about it, but at some point we’re going to create a teeth cleaning system to where you can clean your teeth and it’s competitive with anything you can get with a doctor. If I don’t do it, somebody needs to.

The second thing I want to add to that is I think technology one day is going to allow people to do certain treatments for themselves. I honestly think if you take a big guy and he snores and he has sleep apnea, there’s going to be technology for him to create his own mouthpieces online. I honestly believe that if you take some of these people that have a small gap in their teeth, there’s going to be retainers that they can buy online to fix their teeth. We have some challenges, the challenges is not to do dentistry.

Right now the one at hand is just to do smile enhancement. But it irks me to the end of time that somebody’s not doing teeth cleaning. 70% of people who lose their teeth over 40 years old could have been prevented if they just had proper teeth cleanings. It bothers me to no end.

This sounds like another product I was told I could get from my dentist

The Snap On Smile, a lot of people will say are referred to as snap smiles, or their snap on smile dentist. What you’re going to find is that there are other people who say they can do some kind of smile enhancement, and it’s called snap ons.

The problem is the same problem that existed earlier is that we don’t believe they are being made available to the people who need them. You see people who used to do million dollar campaigns about smile enhancement. What happens is they’re really not offering smile enhancement. You get there and they say, “Oh, no, I’d like to show you veneers. Let’s do some bonding. Let’s get you into this. Let’s get you into that. And don’t worry about payments. Don’t worry, we can get you financed.”

And what happens is the person came in to see something they never even saw.

Does Brighter Image Lab face any specific challenges?

Click here for video answer to does Brighter Image Lab face any specific challenges

The challenge that we face is convincing them that the technology is solid, and that we continue to grow with technology. The other challenges that we have is to make sure that we keep an arms-length transaction. We don’t see clients, nobody comes to us. All of our lab is a process in different stages. The challenges that we have is to make sure that we don’t touch teeth, and the reason being is because we’re not dentists. The challenge that we have to do is to make sure that everyone knows we don’t want to touch your teeth, but we don’t want you dealing with the shame of not having a nicer smile.

What made you passionate about smile enhancement?

Click here for video answer to what made you passionate about smile enhancement

I can’t say it enough. The #1 thing that I need to rant on for a bit is that when these people are handed a 5, 10, 15 thousand dollar dental treatment, it’s paralyzing, and that paralyzing is shame.

It’s class warfare to say I don’t have the empathy to find a way to give you something until you can move forward. I think it’s shameful, because all she needs is 3 years, 24 months, 36 months. If she gets a job, she gets her credit together, she can get a loan.

I promise you the majority of people who buy a removable dental veneer will not stop there. In 3 years, in 4 years, they’ll want to see themselves with perfect teeth, but right now they want to see themselves with a perfect smile.

If you were to take the shame she deals with on a daily basis, it’s equivalent to losing your pants, and if she’d lost her pants, everybody in two seconds would be moving to find a tablecloth. Somebody would hand her a jacket. Somebody would give her a ride home and somebody would be nudging somebody else to cut her a check so that she has clothes.

The shame that she has to deal with on a daily basis would be met in 2.5 seconds if it was anything but her smile.

How do you make these available to the people who need it the most?

Click here for video answer to how do you make these available to the people who need it the most

All the time, we’re behind. We have more clients than we can take. What happens is we tell them if you just want to fix your teeth, if you want a Jessica Simpson smile, or you want to look like Halle Berry, or you want to look like Jennifer Anniston or Julia Roberts, then you know we can help you, but you’re not our guy. And because we deal with people that have issues. People that have real concerns and real challenges. We don’t mind doing them, but we don’t want you in line if we’re booked up.

So you don’t have any locations where I can come in for an appointment?

Click here for video answer to so you don't have any locations where I can come in for an appointment

Absolutely not.

Everything we do is done through the website. What happens is almost everybody starts out with a search. You gotta realize, we knew that the search was the way for us to grow because we knew that either something was wrong, something was happening, and there’s never been a better time to talk to somebody than when they are searching.

It’s the best way for us to have a solution oriented conversation that didn’t involve dental treatment. That didn’t involve dentistry. My fear with that before is that if we open up stores or we get close to what doctors are doing, you get back to dentistry, dentistry, dentistry.

For the first time we wanted to say no dentistry, and we only wanted to deal initially with people who were a challenge, who were trying to solve an alternative to a challenge. We think that online is the best way for us to have an arms-length transaction, to be designers, to use technology, and innovation.

How long does it take to make the veneers?

Click here for video answer to how long does it take to make the veneers

We have two processes. We have an express that’s 15 days from the date we receive usable impressions. However, because every impression has an individual set of challenges, some of those are replaced with one designer, some have a different level designer. Some have what we call a case consult where a couple of us get together and say what happened.

So we tell everybody 30 days. We do them in batches. That’s how we make them affordable. The 3d Printers takes the same time to do one tooth as they do a plate. We can do 24 sets of what we call full arch removable veneers in the same time to do one, so we do them in batches.

But the majority of clients who come to us are seeing 30 days guaranteed, 15 days guaranteed, and if they do 30 we’re seeing them go out in 21 days. That was one of the challenges when we first got started. It wasn’t a pretty picture, and when we first got started, we tried to put disclaimers, but people were only concerned about 30 days.

Do you do any work outside the U.S.?

Click here for video answer to do you do any work outside the US

We do a lot of US work, but I would say 40% our business is non-US based.

It’s growing to the point that it’s not equal. We actually shut advertising off and we blocked ourselves from certain countries in order to not get an inherited amount. UK, Australia, Canada is on our schedule daily. We want to be sensitive about how we’re dealing with it.

We just now got some contracts from DHL and FedEx that guarantees that if we take a foreign account form Canada, or from the UK, or Australia, or Ireland or any of the countries around there, we can get a 5 day delivery, either way.

All we try to do is be super sensitive and try go get people who are sober on both sides of the phone. We’re not excited about getting accounts/cases that we can’t mature, and we don’t want anyone getting excited about a case that’s going to have some complication.

One of the commitments that we had was to never drop below what we would consider 100% every time. Everything that we do is 100%, so that’s why we’re real careful about going after other countries.

I have to tell you that I’ve never been more appreciated in the UK. I’ve never been more appreciated in Australia. I’ve never been more appreciated in Ireland. The work that we do for those people is so profound.

Every day we are getting a “thank you” letter, and I can’t remember being in a business, knowing of a business where people would actually give you money, stop, send you pictures and a “thank you” card, and a letter that says, “I want to appreciate what you’ve done for me, you don’t know what you did.”

Can I still speak with removable veneers in my mouth?

We have clients who are musicians, public speakers, presenters, phone support agents, singers and many other professions that require clear speech. Most people will need some time to adjust to speaking with the veneers In place, but any impediments or lisps can be overcome with practice.

Do removable veneers cover missing teeth?

Our veneers are great for people who are missing teeth. The veneer will wrap around your remaining teeth like a shell, and where you’re missing teeth, it will be solid – in the shape of a tooth. Giving you a full, and uniform smile.

Each veneer needs a minimum or 4 teeth in order to hold in place properly, but we really prefer at least 6. With less than that, we have difficulty anchoring the veneer properly and creating a perfect fit becomes a problem. Do removable veneers work with sensitive teeth?

No significant issues regarding tooth sensitivity while wearing removable veneers have been reported to us. We do recognize that our veneers are designed to be tight when a client first tries them on. This tightness does subside as you become acclimated to the veneer. If you experience further pain while wearing the removable veneer, we ask that you discontinue use. Any concerns regarding use of removable dental veneers for clients who have sensitive teeth should be directed to a smile expert.

Do Press On Veneers/BIL Veneers get stains?

The veneers are made from a nonporous material so they are very stain resistant. As long as you avoid abrasive substances like toothpaste, they shouldn’t stain. Tea, wine, coffee, and tobacco will all appear to stain your Press On Veneers/BIL Veneers just as they stain teeth. Cleaning removable dental veneers is a snap, however. Always use a soft cloth to wipe them clean and soak them in denture cleaner daily.

How do I clean my Press On Veneers™ or BIL Veneers™?

The veneers really should be removed at night, and we recommend putting them in a denture soak (any generic brand will do). We don’t advise eating any challenging foods, i.e, tough meats, harder breads –like bagels or baguettes. And if you do eat in the veneers, we recommend you rinse them thoroughly afterward. We’d also suggest keeping your Veneers in the protective case any time you aren’t wearing them – and always remember that this is purely cosmetic and is not intended to replace the function of your real teeth.

What shades do your removable veneers come in?

We offer a “Bright White”, a “Natural White”, and a “Natural Stain”. Our most popular shade – by far – is the Natural White. It give the appearance of well-manicured smile, without being overbearing or fake. Generally we only recommend the Bright White for clients who are performers, and need their smile to ‘pop’ from across the room. And the Natural Stain is only for use in extreme cases where the client needs to match discolored teeth.

What is the difference between removable dental veneers and dentures?

Our veneers can be a great alternative for people considering dentures, especially if you’re hesitant to have your real teeth removed. However, if you’re wearing full dentures now, the veneers won’t work as a replacement, because you likely don’t have the teeth required to hold the veneers in place.

Some people choose our veneers over dentures, because ours is a pain-free, and procedure free solution. No pulling teeth, no pain or swelling, and no recovery time. Many people are also happy to learn that our veneers don’t cover the roof of your mouth the way dentures do, and make it a much more comfortable – or ‘livable’ solution. Not to mention that our veneers are a reversible decision. If you go with dentures now, you can never get your teeth back, but if you try removable veneers first, you can always decide to get denture later.

Making impressions isn’t hard, but it is new for most people. We understand that you may not get it perfect on the first try, so we send enough material to take 3 impressions per arch. That was you’ll have a few tries to get it right. And in addition to the printed instructions, we have multiple videos on our website that show the impression process from start to finish. If your impressions are determined to be usable, our team scans them into 3D CAD/CAM software which allows us to see what your existing smile looks like. We then build a smile to match your existing smile, filling in any missing, cracked, or chipped teeth. We then build a prototype using a 3D Printer and send this back to our technicians where they craft a quality set of Press On Veneers, made to press on to your existing smile and give you the smile you’ve always dreamed of.

If for some reason, we can’t use the impressions you send us, we’ll make detailed notes about why, give you specific feedback on how to avoid that issue, and send you another impressions system automatically, at no charge. A great veneer starts with a great impression and our job is to help you accomplish that in whatever way we can.

If you have advanced gum disease, very loose teeth, infection or swelling, or any other condition that might prevent you from making impressions of your teeth, we ask that you please consult with your dentist, prior to using our impression system.

Do I have to get regular fittings?

Once we get your impressions we’ll use 3D scanning to create a digital model of your teeth, and our designers use that model to determine the fit and look of your veneers. As long as they fit your mouth comfortably once you receive your removable veneers, no other work is necessary.

The dental lab does everything in their power to ensure that your veneers are a perfect snap fit before we ship them. However, 12 to 15 percent of our work does have to be adjusted. In these cases, a new model is made from the impressions, and the process is started over at no additional charge.

What if my Removable Dental Veneers do not fit properly?

The dental lab does everything in their power to ensure that your veneers are a perfect snap fit before we ship them. However, 12 to 15 percent of our work does have to be adjusted. In these cases, a new model is made from the impressions, and the process is started over at no additional charge up to two (2) times.

We strongly recommend that you call one of our smile specialists to receive phone instructions if you are directed to re-make your impressions.

Why is there no refund/no cancellation once the order is processed?

After designing 70,000 veneers, we found a percentage of people are simply not committed to our Lab Direct Process. At any point in time, our lab is working on 250-300 clients. In an effort to keep pricing low, we have to know when a client places an order, they are committed to work with us to have his/her veneer made.

While we may present cases similar to yours on our website, we cannot guarantee similar results or your satisfaction with your results. After reviewing the cases we show on our website, you determine whether you are qualified for Press On Veneers or BIL Veneers. From the moment we process your order, our design lab begins the process to create your removable dental veneers. This allows us to keep our pricing competitive. Once our lab receives the impressions and photos of your smile that you supply, a considerable amount of time, effort, labor, and costly materials is invested to complete the process. It is for this reason that there are No Cancellations and No Refunds.

What if I change my mind?

Once you place your custom order, we begin creating your custom dental veneers. Once this process begins, we cannot re-use the materials applied to your custom order. It is for this reason that we do not offer any “change of mind” warranty.

We do all we can to avoid clients with unreasonable expectations, the majority of clients who change their mind do so because they are unhappy with the results of the first veneer they receive. Our limited warranty does cover up to two (2) remakes. You can rest assured that we do not intend to leave any client unsatisfied wherever possible, but it is possible!

  • Three common reasons for client dissatisfaction:
  • Client doesn’t like the look of the veneers
  • Client feels the veneers are too think or bulky
  • Client feels the veneers are hard to get used to

We are designers, not dentists. You supply the impressions that insures your fit. We take the job from there to complete you a custom finished veneer. However, because we never see our clients’ teeth before the impressions are received, we take on the task of designing our best design work for the existing impression.

Change Mind Client

This client changed her mind after receiving her veneer. She told us because she was unhappy, she decided to go to the dentist instead. We have gone through great expense to deliver veneers, and we feel the veneers she received look good enough to justify the work. Her refund request was therefore denied, and she was requested to continue the process of remaking the veneer.

A considerable effort is made to ensure that every client wants Press On Veneers or BIL Veneers before ordering. We encourage everyone to talk to our smile representatives by providing contact information in various locations on the website. Please ensure that you are fully committed to our process before you order, including allowing us to remake your veneer up to two (2) times after receiving the initial veneers from us.

What if I don’t like my PressOn Veneers™ or BIL Veneers™?

Our Client Services Representatives are trained to ask questions to find out the specific cause of any fit issues. They are educated on usual problem areas and can usually determine the exact cause of any fit issue within the span of a brief phone call.

We ask that our clients have the same level of commitment when requesting a remake due to fit issues, disclosing all known corrective areas by making notes, taking photos, and shooting video footage if necessary. The more information our design lab receives, the closer they will come to creating the one fit for your smile!

The dental lab does everything in their power to ensure that your veneers are a perfect snap fit before we ship them. However, 12 to 15 percent of our work does have to be adjusted. In these cases, a new model is made from the impressions, and the process is started over at no additional charge. This gives you the chance to re-send additional impressions, photos, videos, notes, and suggestions to our design lab to assist in getting the correct fit for your teeth – all at no additional cost to you!

When will I receive my Removable Veneers?

Generally we try to ship your impression system the following day. All systems are shipped USPS First Class Priority Mail, and depending on your location, delivery usually takes 1-3 business days. You’ll have as much time as you need to take your impressions, so there’s no need to rush, but just remember that we can’t start work on your new smile until we receive your usable impressions. Plan on the same 1-3 day window for returning shipping. Once we’ve received usable impressions, Standard Productions takes about 30 days, and our Smile Express takes about 14 – until we have a completed veneer. But please know that all of these times are estimates, and subject to change – and we do not guarantee delivery within any specific time frame.

Our 30% Hi-Intensity™ Competitive Strength Teeth Whitening Gel is 40% stronger than used by most dentists. You will not find a finer Hi-Quality Professional Strength 30% Hi-Intensity™ whitening Gel.

Why is your Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Process better than laser teeth whitening?

Our Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Process is More Effective Than Laser!

Using a laser with a teeth whitening gel, laser whitening is an in-office teeth whitening system. The translucent teeth whitening gel is applied to the teeth and a laser light is used to activate the crystals to absorb the energy from the light and penetrate the teeth enamel to increase the whitening effect on the teeth.

The length of time spent in the cosmetic dentist’s chair whitening your teeth depends on the degree of discoloration you have.

Many dentists are moving away from using lasers for teeth whitening since they find the heat source is much too difficult to control, and new studies show the result differences to be similar, or even inferior when compared with the Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Process.

Costs can vary depending upon the area you live in and the type of whitening treatment you undergo. Laser teeth whitening typically runs from $500 to over $1000 for the complete procedure.

Generally speaking, the price of laser teeth whitening increases with the number of in-office treatments required by the patient. Dental insurance does not typically cover the cost of any teeth whitening procedure as it is considered a cosmetic procedure.

What kind of results can I expect with your Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Process?

Many people can see a difference after the first Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening session. Dramatic results usually come in 5 to 6 days. We recommend that the initial Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening process be continued for 12 consecutive days. After those 12 days, you only need to whiten your teeth as often as you want.

If you want a continuous white smile, then you will need to bleach at least once a month. If you just want your teeth white for special occasions, then bleach them the night before and 30 minutes before the event. Most people’s teeth get up to 7 shades whiter in one day using our Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Process!

What if I’m not satisfied with your Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Process?

Brighter Image™ offers a no questions asked 100% results satisfaction guarantee on our Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Process. If you’re not completely satisfied with your Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening results all you have to do is simply return the DURABRITE™ Custom Fitted Teeth Whitening Trays within 30 days and we’ll give you a full refund for every cent. Professional Teeth Whitening offers consistently lower prices on all orders, quantity discounts, and the best possible level of service – whether you are ordering online, or need live assistance on our toll-free number.

How does your Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Process remove stains?

Our Hi-Intensity™ Teeth Whitening Gel removes most stains with a gentle action that whitens your teeth. As the active ingredient in the gel (carbamide peroxide) is broken down and oxygen acts upon the stained organic deposits, which oxidizes them into a white color, making the overall tooth color closer to its natural unstained color.

Does your Lab Direct Teeth Whitening Process work on tetracycline and minocycline discoloration?

Yes as shown by the following article:

CHICAGO (January 23, 2001) The Academy of General Dentistry

New findings reveal how a tooth whitening procedure – typically not an option for those children with tetracycline-stained teeth – can be effective for lightening dark, intrinsic stains, with results lasting more than four and a half years, according to the Academy of General Dentistry.

“Before this study, people with tetracycline stains were considered poor candidates for nightguard vital bleaching,” explains Ralph H. Leonard Jr., DDS, MPH, who has spent more than 10 years researching this topic, also known as a common tooth whitening procedure. “Until recently, crowns, veneers or internal bleaching were patients’ primary cosmetic options for alleviating stains caused by tetracycline.”

Tetracycline is an antibiotic that was widely used in the past primarily to treat ear infections in children. When the drug is taken during tooth formation and development, it can cause dark, intrinsic discolorations of teeth — staining the tooth from the inside out. The teeth may be stained various shades of yellow, gray, brown or bluish-black with horizontal bands during the time in which the drug was taken.

Minocycline, a drug in the tetracycline family, is also capable of discoloring teeth. Minocycline is widely used today to treat severe acne in adolescents. Consumers, dentists and medical doctors should be aware of the possible tooth staining effects of minocycline therapy.

Patients with tetracycline stains on the lower two-thirds of the tooth (the biting edge) may see a better cosmetic result than those that have stains on the upper third of the tooth, near the gum line.

Tooth bleaching is the whitening method used to treat tetracycline stains. Stains can be lightened in many cases with extended treatment time and with minimal side effects. “Most commonly reported side effects are tooth sensitivity and gum irritation; both disappear soon after completion of the whitening,” says Dr. Leonard.

Patients are fitted with custom mouth tray for application of the whitening gel. The patient will place the gel in the tray and wear the tray for four to eight hours a day or at night until a desirable cosmetic results is obtained. In many cases, it may be four to eight weeks for the desired effect to occur, but it could take six or more to obtain the result, due to extensive staining.

“This whitening method shows that tetracycline-stained teeth can be whitened successfully,” reports Dr. Leonard. “Patients who participated in the study were overwhelmingly positive about the results, were glad they had participated in the study and would recommend the procedure to others.”

The Academy of General Dentistry is a non-profit organization of more than 37,000 general dentists dedicated to staying up-to-date in the profession through continuing education. A general dentist is the primary care provider for patients of all ages and is responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, management and overall coordination of services related to patient’s oral health needs.

Can your Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Process whiten crowns, bridges and veneers?

Our Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Process can lighten teeth which have porcelain veneers. Our Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Process will not make a color change in the dental work you have already had done but can remove discoloration from staining. This includes restorations such as: white fillings, bonding, crowns, and bridges. In most cases, a person’s teeth should undergo our Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Process first and then afterwards their dental work done to match the new shade of their teeth.

What about gum recession?

Some people have gum recession on one or more teeth. Usually the root surface which becomes visible as gums recede has an appearance which is somewhat darker than the rest of the tooth. This is because root surfaces are not covered by enamel but are instead composed of another naturally darker material called “dentin”.

The Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Process won’t effectively lighten dentin. This means that the color of the root portion of the tooth (which shows where the gum recession has occurred) will not change noticeably as a result of your teeth whitening efforts.

Is the your Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Process permanent?

No, however, for most people, the treatment will last for many years. Your teeth have become stained in the first place from consuming various foods and beverages. Upon the completion of our initial Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Process, your teeth are restored to their natural white color. Exposure to foods, drinks such as coffee, colas and red wines, smoking and other consumables will gradually darken teeth again over time. You may want to periodically use our Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Process. After athe initial Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Process, most people do touchups at least once a month.

What is a DURABRITE™ Custom Fitted Teeth Whitening tray and how does it work?

The DURABRITE™ Custom Fitted Teeth Whitening Tray is an inconspicuous appliance that is designed to hold the Hi-Intensity™ Teeth Whitening Gel in place and fits comfortably over the teeth. DURABRITE™ Custom Fitted Teeth Whitening Trays optimize the the whitening process by keeping the Hi-Intensity™ Teeth Whitening Gel in contact with the teeth. Our DURABRITE™ Custom Fitted Teeth Whitening Trays are very thin and very clear, made to fit your teeth exactly.

What is the difference between the boil-n-bite teeth whitening mouthpieces and the DURABRITE™ Custom Fitted Teeth Whitening Trays?

Although both trays are safe, the precision DURABRITE™ Custom Fitted Teeth Whitening Trays are more precise and more comfortable to wear. These are the exact mouthpieces that a dentist provides. They help you save Hi-Intensity™ Teeth Whitening Gel and are better for people who may have sensitivities to teeth whitening gels on their gums. Also, DURABRITE™ Custom Fitted Teeth Whitening Trays are much easier for you to create since there is no boiling water involved in the formation process.

Why is your Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Process better than others?

Simply put, other processes do not work effectively. Teeth whitening systems found in mass retail markets do not use Carbamide Peroxide, the exact ingredient used in professional dental offices. Some over the counter teeth whitening trays are not moldable to your teeth and do not hold the teeth whitening gel in the proper position. Many over the counter teeth whitening gels are not thick enough to stay in place and will leak out of the teeth whitening tray. Most over the counter teeth whitening gels typically have less effective active ingredients or a lower concentration of active ingredients.

Why are we selling our Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening System direct?

We’ve seen for years cosmetic dentists who charge as much as $800 dollars (some even more) for our Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening service. All the dentist would do is have his assistant take the impressions of your teeth (same thing you can easily do yourself with our system thanks to new technology that make it truly very simple) then he has the assistant send your impressions to a dental lab like ours. We do all the work! We would make the DURABRITE™ Custom Fitted Teeth Whitening Trays of your teeth, not the dentist. Then we would send your DURABRITE™ Custom Fitted Trays back to the dentist who gives them to you. The dentist made all the money for really doing nothing. We feel that going Lab Direct™ to the client is a better way to grow. We really enjoy helping people from all over the world improve their image with a brighter, whiter smile. All the magic of our Lab Direct Teeth Whitening™ service is in making the DURABRITE™ Custom Fitted Teeth Whitening Trays and the Hi-Intensity™ Competitive Strength Teeth Whitening Gel. We build your DURABRITE™ Custom Fitted Teeth Whitening Trays and you apply the Hi-Intensity™ Teeth Whitening Gel …so why do you need a dentist for Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening? You don’t…Now you can have a $1,000,000 smile for less than $200!

What is competitive teeth whitening?

Competitive Teeth Whitening is the same type of teeth whitening that is required for top models, pageant contestant, public speakers. It’s for clients who really want to get the whitest results possible. At Brighter Image™, all we do is competitive teeth whitening.

What is full cure teeth whitening?

A full curing is when the teeth are whitened past the surface of the tooth. By doing a full curing of the tooth we whiten into the pulp of the of the tooth which usually makes the whitening brighter and tends to last much longer than just surface whitening that generally lasts only a few months.

Who may benefit from your Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Process?

Almost everyone will have noticeable results. Our Lab Direct Teeth Whitening Process will not whiten crowns, fillings, or porcelain veneers past their original color, nor will it whiten the dark areas left by gum recession. Our Lab Direct Teeth Whitening Process will whiten stains left by food and beverage consumption (red wine, coffee, tea), smoking, medication (minocycline and tetracycline), and natural aging.

How long does the Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Process take?

The thin, soft plastic trays provide sufficient comfort to allow teeth whitening while you sleep. Our sticky Hi-Intensity™ Competitive Strength Teeth Whitening Gel formula sticks to the DURABRITE™ Custom Fitted Teeth Whitening Tray and firmly holds it against your teeth to whiten. The formula is gentle enough to wear overnight. You can use the DURABRITE™ Custom Fitted Teeth Whitening Tray for 1 to 3 hours during the day or at night while you sleep. You should continue the Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Process for a complete and full curing which generally takes 12 days. However you should see up to 7 shades whiter after only 1 day. The Hi-Intensity™ Competitive Strength Teeth Whitening Gel really only works for up to 3 hours therefore sleeping in your trays will not cause over whitening. Do not eat or drink while wearing your DURABRITE™ Custom Fitted Teeth Whitening Trays.

How can you sell the same teeth whitening process for so much less than my doctor?

It’s pretty simple – volume, low overhead, and a focus on Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening

Volume:

The average dentist usually sees only a few teeth whitening customers every day. The typical dentist usually has to save up orders for a few days or even a couple of weeks in order to get any quantity discounts from a dental lab. That’s probably why you have waited for custom fitted teeth whitening trays in the past. Not because the custom fitted teeth whitening trays take a long time to process, but because the dentists are waiting to combine some orders and get a lower price. Brighter Image™’s Lab processes all our handmade DURABRITE™ Custom Fitted Whitening Trays every day. We don’t wait around to process your DURABRITE™ Custom Fitted Teeth Whitening Trays. We have our dental lab working around the clock.

Low overhead:

It would take more than 500 dentists offices to sell as many teeth whitening systems as Brighter Image™ Lab to make enough money to sell our Lab Direct Teeth Whitening System at the same price we do…Rent, payroll, and equipment maintenance isn’t cheap and someone has to pay for it. Until now, that someone was you.

Focus on Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening:

We are a Professional Teeth Whitening Company. We don’t sell cheap Do-It-Yourself Kits or Boil-and-Bite kits or anything less than only the finest most professional teeth whitening service. We are focused on having the highest quality teeth whitening system possible. Our goal is to provide you with the fastest, easiest, most convenient way to have your Teeth Professionally Whitened – by phone, mail, fax or the Internet. Lab Direct™, No dentist visit.

Is your Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Process as effective as laser?

Our Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Process is More Effective Than Laser!

Using a laser with a teeth whitening gel, this is an in-office teeth whitening system. The translucent teeth whitening gel is applied to the teeth and a laser light is used to activate the crystals to absorb the energy from the light and penetrate the teeth enamel to increase the whitening effect on the teeth.

The length of time in the cosmetic dentist’s chair depends on the degree of discoloration you have.

Many dentists are moving away from using lasers for teeth whitening since they find the heat source is much too difficult to control, and new studies show the result differences to be similar, or even inferior when compared with the Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Process.

Costs can vary depending upon the area you live in and the type of teeth whitening treatment you undergo. Laser teeth whitening typically runs from $500 to over $1000 for the complete procedure.

Generally speaking, the price of teeth whitening increases with the number of in-office treatments required by the patient. Dental insurance does not typically cover the cost of any teeth whitening procedure as it is considered a cosmetic procedure.

Are your Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Systems the same thing dentists sell me for $500 or more?

Our service is the exact same Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Procedure, Hi-Intensity™ Competitive Strength Teeth Whitening Gel & DURABRITE™ Custom Fitted Teeth Whitening Trays used by cosmetic dentists in offices across the country. Your DURABRITE™ Custom Fitted Teeth Whitening Trays are made in a lab right next to the teeth whitening trays dentists are charging $500 plus dollars for. You can also expect the same professional results or better.

Why is the cost for your Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Process so much less than going to the dentist office?

You are not paying the cost of $200 to $300 an hour in the dentist chair. You are buying Lab Direct™, taking your impressions yourself and sending them back to us at the lab instead of paying a dentist to do it for you. It’s simple – At Brighter Image™ Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening is all that we do and buying direct from the lab saves you $100’s!

Is your Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Process safe?

YES! Studies show from the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD Impact, April 1998, p.23) Several studies, during the past five years, have proven bleaching to be safe and effective. A small percentage of people may experience some tooth sensitivity and gum irritation, which disappears once you stop using the product or by decreasing the amount of time you bleach your teeth.

Is it safe to use your Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Process at home?

Yes. In fact, many dentists consider this whitening process the safest cosmetic procedure available today. It is the exact same process used in 95% of all dental offices. The process safely bleaches your teeth to lighten discoloration caused by food, coffee, tobacco, aging and other sources. It will not harm the enamel, dentin or pulp of the tooth.

Are there any side effects to using your Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Process?

Some people experience temporary tooth sensitivity during the Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Process which always is relieved upon the discontinuation or completion of the Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Process. There are no other significant side effects.

How do I get started with your Lab Direct™ Teeth Whitening Service?

An impression of your teeth will be made by you at home with our easy-to-use system. You mail these back to us in the postage paid envelope we provide. Our lab technicians then make your DURABRITE™ Custom Fitted Teeth Whitening Trays from the impressions of your teeth and return these to you, usually within 24 hours. You then apply our Hi-Intensity™ Teeth Whitening Gel inside the DURABRITE™ Custom Fitted Teeth Whitening Trays and place them over your teeth. You may wear the DURABRITE™ Custom Fitted Teeth Whitening Trays from 30 minutes to 4 hours per day. Most people see dramatic results after only a few hours of bleaching time.

I already have a set of moldable mouthpieces. Can I purchase just the Hi-Intensity™ Teeth Whitening Gel?
